REPORT ON FUTSAL II

By: Ahmad Hasnizan.

Amid uncertain political turmoil in Perak and ongoing agony of the Palestinian people, there is still something to cheer on. And it happened right here, in Kuantan, Pahang.

While BN scored 4-0 against Pakatan Rakyat in Perak with the defection of 4 assemblypersons; and Israel scored 1300-13 in terms of the number of people killed, we all scored so much more.

It was not the goals that matter, but the sheer determination and the true spirit of togetherness that we should cheer on. Defying all odds, everybody came from near and far, putting aside various personal difficulties and overcoming the tired feeling of taxing job requirements during the day to play a role in the successful game of Futsal. De Rhu Beach Resort was the place on Wednesday night.

The teams were divided into 2 categories: those whose waistlines are above 34 inches, and those who are below 34 inches. Except for some fiery shots from Rosli and puzzling moves of handful of players, the play was full of people grasping for oxygen and water. Therefore let’s face it; there was not much to brag about the game. Other highlights seem to be worthier of mentioning.

Here are some of the interesting highlights:

- Hamdan drove all the way from Kemaman with his youngest son. He was in the pink of health when he arrived but soon had to return an injured man.
- Hilal picked up Nafis and Nin in a manner that most taxi drivers usually refused to do. Hilal also made some crucial one-two moves during the game, much to his own confusion.
- Azman, a jovial man flushed with cash from Yayasan Pahang loan, did his stretching for the game at a gymnasium 15 kilometres away from De Rhu.
- Hafis, Rosli and Ahmad stretched every ringgit to put their hand on a brand new pair of Futsal shoes, praying hard that the Yayasan Pahang loan shall be forthcoming.
- Abang Wan handled the warm-up session as well as the cooling-down session with techniques that even Alex Ferguson had yet to discover.
- Moha displayed some advanced medical procedures he learned from the doctors in Hospital Kuantan when he quickly attended to Hamdan’s injury. However, Hamdan’s condition turned out to be worse.
- Nin also made a brief but significant appearance on the pitch. Abg Wan, stimulated by Nin’s mesmerizing display of woman football, fire an excruciating shot towards Nin. Nafiz’s eyes were seen to be blazing with fury following this incidence.
- Sulaiman was willing to put his sophisticated DSLR camera to great risk by taking shots at aggressive players. Again, when Sulaiman handed over the camera to Nin, Nafiz’s eyes were blazing with fury.

The night was the night of winners. Those who could not make it this time, (i.e. Reza, Faizal and other ladies) were the only ones who missed the win. Hope to see more of these faces next time.

The usual yamseng session capped the event, with everyone having at least 2 glasses of drinks. Doses of jokes from everybody made all of the winners went back as happier men.

See you later. Cheeeeeeeeeeerrrsssss!!!!!

ONE SCARY SUBJECT WAS COMPLETED

well...today, we finished our eco subject with final exam which we saw quite fair for us. Without hard working among group members doing discussion, this challenge would been as killing subject. Congrat to every group's member who stayed untill early morning (4-5 am) doing quizzes and assignments. We'll break for one week, so who are felt that he/she is not had enough sleep for past two weeks, please do that for this week!!!

Remember, next subject is managerial finance. Once again our brain will be deeply drilled by AP Dr Omar Samad. Everybody needs to prepare early in all aspects - psychological and physiology. Physiologically, we need to persuade our mind that we are able to go through this subject, and, physiologically, we need to have enough rest and nutritious diet...heheheee (jangan sampai gemuk dah ar)..hahahaaaa....

Anyhow, to all members, if you realised that till at this point we went through all subjects without any big problem. This is because our unity is tied strongly. 'Unite' make Us Strong...everybody may vary in interpretation of word 'Unite' but 'we' have the same understanding....

Oh yea...our new Penghulu is asking us to attend futsal event at De Rhu Beach Resort, Balok this coming wednesday, so hopefully all of us are able to give full support to new Penghulu. Ok...if God willing, we will meet there guys....
